Seriously?©
How long has it been since I wrote my first exploration blog here? It seems like forever ago and Im sure you’ve all been frothing at the mouth for a new one…. so as not to disappoint you, I’ve done this for you.
So I like to read other people’s blogs, and I’ve always been a peripheral fan of Steampunk… so when one of the blogs I read mentioned this place, I jumped all over it. Not only did I jump all over it, but I also added pictures for those of you out there who cant stand my writing style
You see that? It’s a totally sweet Steampunk airship. I love the details involved… even the little things like tying it to the ground is something you might say “Well yea, of course it’s tied down, it’s an airship” , but it’s a detail that didn’t have to be there… it could have just been sitting on the ground, BUT IT WASN’T.
And since no one wants to see the blonde guy standing around staring at stuff in his pictures, I brought along a friend (thanks Mena) to spice the pics up…
Prepare to be boarded indeed… and to have your poop deck swabbed… and other such nautical innuendos (lol seamen). Apparently all of the cannons on the airship work, though I’m not sure what they are supposed to do, per se. I don’t believe the ship actually flies, but hey, I could be wrong. And how do I take pics on a ship without the following
So while I’m here, why not check out the workshop out back? I love that the whole sim here is devoted to Steampunk… tons of whirling gears, brass, glass, and tubes. So behind the hangar is this great place full of more of the same technology
Yea, thats a body in one of the tubes… don’t ask.
I didn’t see any signs specifically saying “Don’t sit on the naked singularity that powers this sim” so I figured it must be ok, right?
After the fun was had, I decided to check out the lighthouse (Damnit I love lighthouses) that sits in the mouth of the harbor outside. First a little about that
How cool does that look? And since we are Steampunk, the entire place is run on…
The lighthouse is very cool and is built to be a functional living space as well… with a library and even small pictures of Victorian rabbit-like people… i dont know the story behind them, but they were fascinating to look at… and on the subject of rabbits…
yes, that is a HUGE bunny we are sitting on… don’t ask me what it has to do with a lighthouse… it’s prolly associated with the pictures of Victorian bunnies on the bookcase….
In the living space, there is great Old-timey furniture (yea, I cant put a specific name to it like my Gal Pal Elle can, but I’m pretty sure Old-timey covers the genre). Once we completed our adventure, there was nothing left to do but bask in our exhaustion outside in the hammock (still Victorian style)
Thanks for sticking out the dry spell with me…. If you have any other cool places for me to check out, I’ll be happy to take a look.

“Prepare to be boarded indeed… and to have your poop deck swabbed… and other such nautical innuendos (lol seamen).”
I managed to keep it together until the parentheses, and then … you made me snort-laugh. Thanks. (and thanks for adding me to you list
