OK, so I haven’t completed another search of SL yet… I’ll get around to it. In the meantime, this issue has been bothering me the last couple of nights so I thought I would comment on it.
First, a little history of myself in a past life:
I am a pVper from way back in the Ultima Online days… There was nothing more fun then hunting people down and tormenting them until they cried themselves to sleep. Yea, I was THAT dick. I would run you down from the other side of the world just to kill your character and then sit on your corpse until you came back and I could do it again.
So yea…. in case you havent heard yet, Dresden (with my full support) has shut down The Rook House.
To begin my journey, I wanted to pick something that was playing in my own Second Life at the time and see what I could do with it. So what better search could there be then to start with “lonely”? I entered “lonely” into the places search, and to REALLY drive the point home, I chose the entry with the least traffic because let’s face it… A place that matches the keyword “lonely” yet has more traffic then Frank’s Club can’t really be that lonely, can it? With lustful glee in anticipation of the blog entry that I’ll be producing as I learn all about Second Life lonely, I *bamf* in to find the following…

Blogging is very therapeutic, or so I’m told… the problem here is that I’m not always sure what the end goal of that therapy should be. I was speaking to my friend earlier today about what the direction of this blog should be and she suggested that I STFU about a theme and just do what comes naturally to me… so I promptly belched into the air and dove into this with full gusto.
I fully expect that future blogs will demonstrate my amazement at the things I’ll learn in Second Life as I embark on my new quest to find the lesser known corners of SL and display them here for you. Everyone has to start somewhere, right? I start here. Seriously.
